George and Cindy Anthony are taking polygraph tests to dispute their daughter, Casey Anthony's, claims.
In a clip from the upcoming A&E and Lifetime special, Casey Anthony's Parents: The Lie Detector Test, it's George's turn to take the hot seat, and prove that he has not lied when it came to the 2008 disappearance and death of his 3-year-old granddaughter, Caylee Anthony.
After George gets hooked up to the machine, a former FBI examiner goes over the pre-test portion, which will include him asking George a series of questions, ranging from his daughter Casey's claims that he molested her, and her claims about his involvement in Caylee's death.
George is instructed to answer as briefly and honestly as he can, while maintaining his composure and limiting his body movement. Before starting, the FBI examiner questions George about calling himself a 10 on the personal honesty scale. George gets a little tripped up when answering.
"Yes. I didn't lie about that," he says, seemingly thinking of the correct way to respond.
The test starts off hot with the examiner asking George about his 42-year marriage to Cindy.
"You never cheated on her? Even an emotional affair, right?" the examiner asks.
"I've never, I have not," George replies.
When asked if he's always been a 10 on the sexual integrity scale, George answers yes. Outside of the room, his wife Cindy disagrees.
"No, I guess when you're separated it doesn't count, I don't know," Cindy says.
Next, George is asked if he knowingly concealed Caylee's whereabouts.
"No, I mean, I didn't know where she was at," George says.
When the interviewer asks again, George replies, "No."
George becomes a little shaken up as the examiner tells him that he has to calm down.
"I'm just visualizing the woods where she was found, I'm sorry," George says.
When asked again if he concealed his granddaughter's whereabouts, George begins to cry as he takes a deep breath before the clip ends.
In 2011, Casey was found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of a child. She did receive a misdemeanor for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
The two grandparents have come forward as a result of Casey's claims that she was sexually abused by her father and that he was involved in concealing Caylee's whereabouts after her death. Casey doubled down on her claims of sexual assault against George in a 2022 docuseries, Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies, and also accused George of staging the crime scene to point to Casey in her daughter's death.
Casey Anthony's Parents: The Lie Detector Test premieres Thursday, Jan. 4 at 9 p.m. ET on A&E and Lifetime.
