Good news alert! Charlotte Tilbury has just launched a new foundation and following the success and popularity of her previous foundations, like the Airbrush Flawless Foundation and the Light Wonder, we're pretty sure it's going to be a major beauty moment. The woman herself shared with GLAMOUR why this a one-of-a-kind foundation that is about to change the game: “This is first to market," she said. "It's science meets colour.” But what does that mean, and how does it differ from any other foundation out there?
Not only does this foundation promises to give your most natural-looking coverage it is formulated with a rose complex which “boosts radiance by 285% and has an instant illuminating effect, but it also fades out the dullness and fatigue in the skin.” The formula is also packed with “coconut extract that plumps the skin by 181%, so it’s like a superfood for the skin that reduces water loss when you wear it, and the Hydro-Smooth [which is a botanical alternative to hyaluronic acid] evens out the skin tone by 210%,” says Charlotte.
Charlotte Tilbury tells us that she wanted to create something that “improves the skin with every wear.” With this skincare-makeup hybrid formula that provides coverage that lasts up to 16 hours, boosts radiance, evens out skin tone with instant results + long-term benefits, it seems like we’re onto a winner.
We’ve decided to put it to the test, so here are five different people with five different complexions’ honest opinions (and with an iconic trio leading the campaign: Kate Moss, Phoebe Dynevor, and Jourdan Dunn, we know that we'll be in good company)…

Not Charlotte Tilbury launching a new foundation, just in time for the new year? I’m already a big fan of the Airbrush Flawless Foundation, it’s probably in my top five list of best foundations of all time, so I am unsure on how she can top it. I’m looking for good coverage, long-lasting, no cakey-ness, no gathering on frown lines, and ultimately a flawless glowy finish, fit for all dewy babes out there, regardless of their skin complexion and undertone.
It comes with a pump application that makes foundation distribution efficient. I used two pumps and it was the perfect amount to give me even coverage. The shade range is healthy as one shade can expand across a few shades. I tried the 14 Neutral and it matched my neck perfectly. Although it originally did feel a little light for my actual face, it blended in seamlessly. All the boxes were ticked. Dear Charlotte, thank you for gifting us this new year with the gift of radiant and natural-looking skin.

I want to scream I love this foundation so much. Seriously. Despite the formula being slightly thicker, it blends in really easily, melting seamlessly into the skin. The coverage is my dream level, it covers blemishes and uneven tone but still shows skin texture, giving you that 'your-skin-but-better' effect. It also gives a super healthy glow to the skin, which paired with the rest of my makeup routine sets a gorgeous glowy base. I also find the pump applicator really handy for a mess-free application and gives you a super-controlled amount of product.

I love all things Charlotte Tilbury and this foundation was no exception. This is marketed as an everyday foundation, claiming to boost hydration and even out skin tone and it did exactly that! Coverage was full but didn't feel cakey and it blended in really easily into my skin without leaving streaks. It looked like I wasn't wearing any foundation at all, which I think is the sign of a great product. I've marked this down slightly as the colour match was a little bit off for me - but despite that this is one of the best natural-looking foundations I've tried in a while. A winner for me!

I've always been very particular when it comes to my foundation (I have been wearing the same one almost exclusively for the past five years) but have also always loved Charlotte Tilbury's makeup products, so I didn't mind giving her new Beautiful Skin Foundation a try. Plus, the ingredients sounded impressive and I was intrigued to see the results.
The shades have a lot of stretch in them - I was able to match with a number of them but settled on 4, which has a neutral undertone.
The immediate finish is radiant but the coverage is sufficient to cover dark circles and breakouts, which is important to me. After a few hours' wear, I looked a little too glowy for my liking (I prefer a soft matte finish as my skin gets oily throughout the day) but I was impressed by the formulas ability to enhance my skin, knocking out redness and brightening my complexion, while remaining virtually undetectable. It just looked like my skin, but better.

I'm a huge fan of Charlotte's Airbrush Flawless Foundation for those days that require heavy-duty coverage and the mattest-of-matte finish, so I was excited to try the new Beautiful Skin Foundation, promising medium coverage and your-skin-but-better results. The verdict? It delivered. I was so impressed with the coverage; my dark circles and irritated red patches (thanks, winter) were seamlessly disguised.
Plus, the bouncy formula is easily buildable for heavier coverage. Skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid left my skin fresh and glowing – no cakiness here – but did require setting powder to lock everything in and achieve my preferred matte finish. This foundation is a game-changer for full coverage-lovers looking for something a bit fresher.
